    Principle point of contact was the head. How is that any different from a player with his back turned, the onus is on the person delivering the hit to come in controlled. Should have been 4on4.

    They seemed to click early on but now they have come up a little flat this game. It doesn't help that we can't get a bounce.

    SJ does a good job of stretching the ice. Their breakout passes aren't to the halfboards they are to the faceoff dot outside the circle. This is partially because their D does an excellent job of creating space below the goal line with movement and passing.

    It looked like they were looking for the pass across the goal to much. They should move the puck a few times in succession trying to get an opening instead of forcing one. I almost wonder if that is on HDD for not working on 5v3 much in practice, at the very least I want Eichel on the receiving end instead of Ennis. And Rob Ray just said much the same. Which probably invalidates my point :P

    Let's hope the 4th best PP% team in the league can get one back here. Especially on the 5v3! MSG isn't displaying the clock...wth?

    One of things that impressed me about this win that we have had ZERO of for a couple seasons is sustained offensive zone time through shift changes that generate chances and the feeling that a goal for the Sabres is imminent. It's fun to watch again!

    The sad part is they are up over last years total average (to this point anyway). Last year they came in dead last with 11,000 avg. http://espn.go.com/nhl/attendance and chicago is averaging 109.8% attendance!?

    Sabres are fifth in PP% going into this game. Excellent, although I wanted Ennis to get that for Karma's sake.
