I know you are being sarcastic/snipey but I simply see more potential in Kulich than I do in the other 3 mentioned. That's all. They could ALL bust and they could surprise but that's my current assessment.
Don’t forget that the Sabres may have blown the Quinn pick! We will have to wait and see.

Gallagher’s “thoughts”.

Quinn last year:
I just don’t see it. Sabres might have blown the pick. Maybe. It’s too soon to say. 🤦♂️🤦♀️🤦
I forgot how much skill he has. That shot…good heavens.

Looking forward to ZB doing something either good or bad tonight just so I don’t keep clicking into OBE and OOP conversation, even despite the scintillating nature thereof.

FFS what part of the word "maybe" do you not understand? For the umpteenth time I said "so far" and "time will tell".
This kind of selective critique is what makes the internet a bag of s%%t.
The desperate need to work in even a potential negative at every turn (ref maybe/so far/time will tell) is what makes the internet a bag of s%%t.

As I said, "remains to be seen" because of his stupid off season injury. The other guys are all currently contributing to their team's success so FOR NOW they are ahead. We shall see how it ends up when Quinn actually returns. Given the injury probably can't make a definitive on this for another year after that as well.
So because of a “stupid off season injury” the Sabres might have blown the draft pick? Three years later? Good heavens.

The board said he was poor-to-below-average when he played poor-to-below-average and sings his praises when he plays really well and his numbers look really good
what am I missing?
People calling him garbage or trash seems to be what you missed.

Jokiharju is 4th on the team with a +3 TRPM.
Clifton second last with a -4.
So unless they're just giving him some rest after his recent illness, this is a bad choice.
NJ power play is deadly. Clifton gets significantly more PK time than Joki. Playing Joki over Clifton would have been a bad choice.

Boston had a lot of trouble with that Jeannot line all night. Can't imagine how Sabres will deal with it.
Hopefully beat them in regulation next time instead of overtime.

I don't think Adams has that in him. It's my biggest concern with his management, but we shall see.
He sent Asplund and Fitz packing last year. I think he has it in him.

The losing streak is extended to…..one. Can that be right?

As much as any game is a must win it's a must win. You simply have to beat the WC competition each and every game and not give them loser points either. So it's a true test if we have anything building here or not.
What happens if they don’t win a must win with 68 games still to play? Other than you getting on a soapbox?

Magnificent! Dudacek, as always, with the most solid takes. Wish there were more of him.

This team needs a bolstering of size.
They have good size up and down the lineup. Not an issue.

Are most of Kulich goals on the PP? Thought I heard that somewhere. If so, is he the possible savior of the PP?
You probably heard it from Paul Hamilton. Sadly.
2 PP goals, 7 ES.

It does seem that certain organizations have better training and conditioning staffs.
For instance?

Cozens has been asked to do too much at this stage and I think his development suffers as a result.
His development certainly suffered going from 38 points to 68 points in the course of two seasons. Granato is screwing him! 🤦♂️🤦♀️🤦

Regarding the lack of a line change in overtime - Sabres had to get to the far bench. Good chance it would go sour regardless.

So you guys like this sort of hockey? Interesting. It's a nice ice show, but I'm not sure it's hockey.
I knew they had a solid shot in this game. A bounce here or there and we come out on top. The kind of game they love with the virtually non existent physical aspect and the free open ice all over. If we could play teams like this all year we'd be a cup contender. We'd then lose to the actual hockey teams in the playoffs, but that's another story.
Peterka continues his breakout year. Mitts still good. Not sure why they went 7 D considering the limited ice time for Johnson but maybe somebody's got a nagging injury they were afraid would flare up idk.
I had to laugh several times with the HNIC announcers "Leafs better on the draws tonight" "Leafs playing with more physicality tonight" lmfao. No, no they weren't, they were just playing Buffalo rather than Boston (from the previous game).
Boy is the bottom 6 for them BAD. Bertuzzi is awful. He looked so good down the stretch in Boston but him and Domi are both awful on the Leafs. It's still all about their big 4 and that gives them zero chance to win the cup. Which I love.
I know some of you got excited here. You think we're capable and better now, but nothing's changed. Next team that plays a 1-3-1 or gets physical or just plays good D and it'll be right back where it was. But cool beans, we beat the Leafs. HATE the Leafs. Don't want to BE the Leafs. So in that respect, an enjoyable night.
PS - So I missed it, what's up with Cozens? He get concussed with Hathaway's knock out punch? Was that it? If so that's not good.
It was a rough night for you. Giving up 3 in the third hurts but you can’t win them all. Detroit is no slouch either. All my best.
