As a GM, early on he was very good

Belichick has drafted more head coaches in 2008 alone than 1000 yard wide receivers in his entire tenure as a Pats GM. That's really impressive, when you consider the fact that Brady was the guy throwing to those receivers for so many years.

2008 round 1: Jerod Mayo (new Patriots HC)

2008 round 3: Kevin O'Connell (Vikings HC since last season)

2009 round 7: Julian Edelman (the only WR drafted by Belichick to hit 1000 yards in a single season)

This actually happened. It wasn't made up.  It's a real story. I don't think it's propaganda and I don't think it's cutting the segment short to fit into a TV show. NBC editing it out and getting exposed shows the type of decisions that a TV network makes covering a sporting event or maybe a news story. The story was covered by a number of different outlets, not just the Gateway Pundit. If you don't like the source I posted, choose any of these other ones: https://news.google.com/search?q=c.j. stroud jesus&hl=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US%3Aen

It appeared that the ball touched the receiver's helmet as he fell out of bounds, thus the ball was out of bounds at that point.  I never saw a definitive view of that, but there were a couple of views that "suggested" that.  I believe they called that one as out of bounds to begin with, so evidence to overturn needed to be indisputable.  From what I saw, there was reasonable reason to dispute.

I looked at every angle and saw nothing in the movement or spin of the ball to suggest any such thing.

Rap was ruled out, right? But whatever the answer to that, are they able to make a change after they ruled someone out?

I don't see why not. Looking at the Personnel Report Policy, I don't see anything that binds a team to being unable to use a player that has been reported Out, so long as the report itself was accurate at the time of reporting.

That said, if a single day makes a difference to whether a player would join or not, you'd think they would have been reported Doubtful instead of Out.

If it had to be done, it had to be done. But that is going to be a huge competitive disadvantage for the winner.

The team that the Bills (or Steelers) will play next week will have 1-2 days more to prepare, to rest..etc.

2 days. Both other AFC Wild Card games are today.

Sherfield is roughly his equal in that area.

No way. On Shakir's 46 yard catch and run, Gabe took out both his defender and Shakir's in a single block. And that's not the first time this year he's done that.

Nope, just one at this point. There’s no guarantees on what happens in the playoffs.

Only talking regular season here. The Chiefs have to come to Orchard Park next season and two seasons later, guaranteed. And if they end up in the same spot of their respective divisions next year, the Chiefs will come to Orchard Park in 2025 as well.

Ok, if they make it, I'll wear the name. You don't have to change yours if they don't make it in, as much fun as it sounds I'm not as invested in the Bills as you are, so I wouldn't do that to ya.

I'm not going to hold you to this, just reminding you. 😛

    Never give up!

  9. Even if the Bills have clinched playoffs before stepping onto the field tomorrow evening, winning the division is important.  Aside from having home games against anyone but the Ravens, it's also the only realistic path that doesn't involve playing both the Browns and Ravens (the two hardest AFC opponents this year, IMO). With that set up, if the Bills, Chiefs, and Browns all win their wild card matches, the Browns will have to go to Baltimore in the divisional round.

If Buffalo is a wild card team, then the only way they don't play the Ravens in the divisional round is by finishing as the #6 seed and playing @ KC and the Dolphins would have to get upset by whatever AFC South team makes it in as #7. And if the Browns are as good as they seem to be right now, then they'd be the most likely opponent in the AFC Championship (which would be @ Cleveland).
