That is ridiculously overdamatic even if NE wins the division this year.
Gator's always in catastrophe mode with the Bills. For today, I'm there with him.

To really put things in perspective — the Bills are on the verge of going 2-3 in their last five. That’s not what contenders do.
2023: The Chiefs went 3-5 over half a season
2021: The Rams lost 3 in a row
2020: The Bucs went 1-3 in a 4 game span
2019: The Chiefs went 2-4 in a 6 game span
2018: The Pats went 2-3 in a 5 game span
5 of the last 7 Super Bowl champions had a 2-3 or worse stretch.

What a disgusting half.

Is it in the NFL? Serious question. And the reason for asking is that teams routinely change salary to bonuses during the season to free up additional cap space and it SEEMS to be pretty close to a $1 in vs a $1 out (minus the prorating of a hit that would fully hit this season now getting spread over 4 (or however long the contract is for) seasons giving $0.75 worth of relief for $1 worth of converted money.
Don't recall seeing a team convert salary to bonus just before the deadline and becoming able to bring in a significanlty more expensive player with that newly freed cap space. Though don't pay nearly as much attention to the details of NFL cap transactions, so maybe that's just having missed some like that which have actually happened.
I guess I didn't verify personally, but Joe Buscaglia (Bills' reporter on The Athletic) was talking about it that way

Not sure you get a $15M player with only $3M in cap space
A $15 million player would cost half that, since the season is half over. Obviously still more than $3 million, but the point is that the cap is prorated.

Cole Bishop's 4 passes defended is tied for 4th most ever by a Bill. Nate Clements (5, 2002), London Fletcher (5, 2006), and Terrence McGee (6, 2008) are the only Bills with more.

Yeah, Yahoo doesn't just drop the "wrong" player. That sounds like a 'PEBCAK' error...Problem Exists Between Chair And Keyboard.
Try taking over an abandoned team which was seemingly drafted by Helen Keller who came to the keyboard wearing oven mitts and then seeing next to nothing available on the waiver wire to improve the squad. This is a dead team walking. I'm just hoping to win a game or two somewhere to spoil someone's season...but even that is looking like a stretch. I already spoiled JujFish's day so that's a start. 😇
Sorry, but Yahoo's app is absolutely broken. It gave me a team I never signed up for. I know how to read names and pick the right people.
But you? You don't have an excuse for being a puerile ass.

And now I can't get my kicker back because Waratah's took him. Even more annoying.

I’ve never seen anyone so eager to anoint someone. Mike Vrabel is a dolt. I’ve never seen anyone with a dumber face. Maye has been ok but they haven’t played anyone challenging defensively. They’ll come back to Earth. Give em time.
Vrabel made his name with a prime Derrick Henry. He's overrated. An average coach who is hyped up as one of the best.
Maye, unfortunately, looks legit.

We didn't lose this game because of the defense.
Our receivers suck. Full stop.
They cannot get open.
The offensive line was also getting dominated for much of the game.
And then Cook started cooking in the 3rd quarter, so of course we abandoned him in the 4th.

Going to be a dog fight to make the playoffs. This is NE division now. Better coaching and they’ve probably got a better roster already.
This is the Bills' division until proven otherwise.

The Yankees are out and the world is a little brighter. Now for the Mariners to take out the Tigers.

I hated those last two plays.

Finally getting around to watching Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. First season was very good.
Caveat: I am easily pleased by Star Trek. I like it all, pretty much. Even Discovery (though I do need to get back to that, since I kind of trailed off).

All 5 of my bench players this week are starts. 3 outs, 2 byes. Gonna need quite a bit of luck this week.

Cleveland lost.
Time to be a Jays fan.

Well, if the crowd at the Fishies game was any indication, they've already sold a #### ton of the Lions/Cowboys Bills jerseys.
Lions, not Cowboys. The Bills' original uniforms were Lions colors. Ralph was a minority owner of the Lions before getting his own team.

Eh. Getting intercepted deep on third down is kind of like a punt.
And it was a good play by the defense, and just a hair overthrown. If that ball was about a foot shorter, I can see Coleman winning the catch.
