Remember when the Sabres were feared for their short handed goals.
Nope, not really. We were exactly in the middle last year in shorthanded goals and we're in the bottom half this year.

Vancouver scored two goals tonight against the Sens. Pyatt got one and Rory got the other. Imagine that. Too bad neither they, nor any other Canuck, will get one past Miller :D

I've got good news, guys. I go back to New Jersey tomorrow. Buffalo always seems to do poorly while I'm in WNY. They're now 7-5-1 while I've been here. They were 1-1-1 when I was here for a week earlier in the season. They were 0-4 when I was here in March. I must conclude that I am a jinx for the Sabres.

Really? NHL.com is still reporting it as a Roy goal. Hopefully it stays that way. I'm a big fan of Max and all, but Roy deserves that goal.

6 game winning streak against the Islanders now. I can't get enough of the way Miller has been playing lately. Way to go, guys!
On a side note, we are now 1 point behind Anaheim with two games in hand.

Third game in four nights, second of back to back games, road game, Canadian team. It all adds up to not good for the Sabres. But, I think we pull it out, in a close one.
