I predict Miller gets the start and earns his first shutout.
And scores a goal, as well.
-
Okay, my prediction was right last time, so I'm saying Miller has a strong game, Sabres win 3-1.
-
I watched TSN's highlights of the game (since I'm usually stuck with a radio feed) and I don't see how that Ottawa's third goal wasn't whistled dead. Oh well. Them's the breaks. At least they answered it right back.
-
On a sidenote, Darcy Tucker got 1st star in Toronto's game tonight.
-
I may be going out on a limb here, but I think the Sabres steal at least a point tonight.
-
Man, no one stays in the chat for more than a minute. Heh.
-
I've been idling in there even when away, so I hope I don't offend anyone who enters and I don't say anything.
-
Sounds like the Sabres are playing decently, even though they're scoreless. Of course, I'm only listening to the radio feed.
-
I haven't made a prediction since the first game following the break. So, I'll make one now. Buffalo 3-2 OT
-
Lundqvist makes 8 saves and gets 2nd star? Is it just me or does that seem wrong?
-
I hear Hecht is out for the rest of the game with a knee injury. What happened?
-
dude, i know that there is normally a large number of Leaf fans at HSBC, but it seems more absurd than usual tonight? what the hell is wrong that we can't have more than half the crowd as Sabre fans in a year like this? and as much as I want to hate them, you really have to respect the way they did this game after game (show up in such large numbers)
On the other hand, Buffalo prices are much cheaper than Toronto prices, so I'm sure many of them come because of the short drive + much better pricing.
-
Any word on who's starting in net tonight?
Mikael Tellqvist.
(And I hope Miller)
-
Rangers pull within one as Nylander scores his 2nd of the night.
-
Anyone else notice that Buccigross thinks that not only will Philly win their division, but that Buffalo will finish below both the Philly AND the Rangers? Buffalo would have to slip a bit and both the Rangers and Philly would have to get really hot. We're currently 7 points ahead of NY with a game in hand, and 9 points ahead of Philly with 2 games in hand. It's definitely possible that one of them will finish with a better record, but I think Buffalo would have to fall apart for both of them to do so.

6 different goal scorers last night, 5 so far tonight... I love this production as a TEAM.
-
Woohoo Max!
-
It's always good to get the first goal. Go Roy!
-
2-1 Ott after one.
-
Here's hoping Ovechkin and the Caps have a monster game against Ottawa.
-
Briere now with 10 points in 4 games.
-
Go Sabres!
-
(To continue recent tradition...) Briere is now at 12 points (4G, 8A) in his last 7 games, including 7 (1G, 6A) in his last three. I'm loving his production!
-
Um, you're counting the empty netter against him too?
Oops
Still, it seems he has lost his touch against these teams, no?
Also, I'm not complaining about the inactivity, I just found the timing a little amusing. I like the team as it is. Sure, it would have been nice to shore up the defense, but I think we have what it takes regardless.
