I'm always right, so I don't know why I need any opportunities.
Funny, I'm always left.

I'm really trying to get pumped for this draft, but I can't. And I was a season ticket holder. Do, don't do, there is no try.

I really enjoy watching Dahlin. I played high level hockey for years and I never tried, let alone executed, the crazy stuff he pulls off every game with ease. He's only going to get better. He's one gifted SOB!

Never glad to see someone let go. My best to Paul. He seemed like a good guy.

Wonder how that happened. Sounds like an accident.
Were both rinks affected?

Not sure what new boards cost, but if they did the shutdown properly, the money saved could have paid the salaries of some the the folks affected by the virus.

Taylor got swept in the first round of the playoffs two years running. Oh well. I also think he won't be unemployed very long.
I agree, he won't be unemployed for long. But, having been through this before, coming home and telling your wife you've been fired is one of the most difficult things to do in your life. These guys are humans with families.who will likely have to relocate. I wish him the best.

If that's the case - maybe they're trying to promote hard workers and cut the people who were seemingly coasting?
Nobody wants to go to a company that fires people like that- but if they promote good dedicated people, they might be trying to create an environment where they reward good performance.
I thought Chris Taylor was both dedicated and a good performer. Out of all the blood letting, I thought Taylor was the least fair firing.

I don't get the optimism around here.
I'm squarely in apathy mode trying very much to get into optimistic mode. It's gonna take time.

Just watched the Zoom presser. Adams seems like a good guy. The Pegulas are as inspiring as a wet dish towel. They don't seem to have a real plan beyond tomorrow. It seems like the "blind squirrel finding a nut" management approach. Hopefully, Adams and RFK can win in spite of this.

Frankly, I'd fire Kim before Terry. Just because I think Terry knows his limitations, Kim does not..

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a vow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
And I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again- 3

I know people wanted to hear something traditional, but Terry was very clear that the team’s finances were a primary driver in all this. The entire PC was about financials.
I guess it's not as easy to "just dig another well" as it used to be.

Charley Barton or Dick Johnston would not back away.
I agree Punch. I hope he stays. But his last line did piss me off:
Good luck and I hope you all continue enjoying your circle-jerk exercise.

Rick Dudley Unlikely to Join Sabres
in The Aud Club
Posted
Get Dudley in here at any capacity. If the Pegulas are building a truly "egoless" organization, then put your money where your fracking mouth is. Dudley knows hockey inside and out and has the connections to help Adams day one. Plus, he'd be done with his workout before the first Sabre came in.
