Friedman mentioned on the Pod that Bruce Garrioch reported in order to move Matt Murray the Sens would have to include the 7OA Pick. Friedman reported the Sens probably do not want to do that. Adams should offer 28 (preferably)or 16 to Ottawa for 7OA and Murray. Murray has two years left at 6.25 Million AAV and has a history with Mike Bales.

With 4 picks in the first 41, they can afford to take a chance. Yurov has Top Ten Talent and doesn’t play for CSKA and Gleb Trikozov would be worth drafting at 28 or 41. Taking Yurov at 9 would be cringeworthy, but at 28 or 41 I would be Ok with that They would have passed on Nazar twice in this draft.

I would agree about 9 and possibly 16, but their value at 28 or 41 is too much to pass up on.
