That is what they think they are doing. Want to be all offense. I did not say they are successful. That was Phil's style of defense. The Sabres defensemen are playing soft on defense. Want to be offensive but they do not have his talent.

The Sabres have not have had more than 40 wins since 2010-2011. Last season 33 wins and now on pace for 20. This is an unintentional tank. Wrong coaching staff for these slackers. Bylsma at least got them playing close to .500.

Lehner is not the problem. Team defense in their own end is. Too many mental errors on positioning and the lack of will to move guys out of the way. Maybe they are emulating Phil's playing style. All offense and average defense.

Why, on the PK, does Phil not have his defensemen move the guy from front of the net?

Switching between the games....Sabres stinker is not a surprise.

No sense of urgency. Holding the puck. Killing the clock. These guys are annoying to watch.

This is worse than the tank years. Johnson is out of position, gives up a big rebound and Eichel gets out played. All leads to an easy goal
