    A stick across the face and no penalty. I have seen guys act like they get hit draw a penalty. The NHL has some really poor officiating.

    That is such a Sabres play. Falk could have hauled down Hall and Lehner was a statue. No lateral movement.

    You have a valid point. Most preseason predictions had the Sabres in 5th or 6th place. No one saw this disaster. Phil might be the wrong guy at the helm to get these guys to play as a cohesive unit.

    They have taken the fan out of caring for this season. I pay for the games, so I watch. Not sold on Phil or the management team.

    That PP was okay until they kept hemming themselves in along the boards. NYI did a good job and gave them nothing. Competitive contest. Good hockey game to watch.

    Weak effort by Johnson. Scandella's play on the boards and his cruising back to watch the goal should earn him some time on the bench.
