Why bother pull the goalie? 9 times out of 10, the Sabres screw up and the other team gets an open net goal. I do not envy Botterill. Blow up this team and tell the fans the truth.

Sabres have not had their heads in the game. Too many are planning on packing up and moving to a new team. A decade of bad trades. drafts and management has reduced this once proud franchise to the level of an expansion team. It will take five years just to get to playoff competitive level.

I chalked this game as a loss before the puck dropped. Too many on the team are looking to be traded. Lack of concentration on the game at hand.

It was a close call but happy with the outcome.

That was a back breaking goal. Sabres have a bad problem giving up late game tying goals. If they hold true to form, they will lose in OT.
