I expect them to come out in the third putting on the pressure and forcing the Rangers into making mistakes.

Mittelstadt's hustle in OT is to be noted. I was yelling about him flying back to his own end to intercept the pass. His quick pass to Risto set up the winning goal. Now that is subtle but impressive. Too often last year guys cruised on back.

Nice game to watch. Ups and downs. This team has no quit in them. They have a different vibe than last year's squad.

I may be in the minority but pulling a goalie with 4 min to go seems to always end up in a goal for the other team. I would rather them wait to 2 minutes and play your guts out, Tired of seeing empty net goals against the Sabres. Still have nightmares from last season.
