    Face it, This team played a disjointed and soft first period. Washington cruised the rest of the way. Not a good game. The Sabres lose to a top team and it was not close.

    No one wants to check. Defense is horrible. Ullmark is left alone. WOW. This after sometime to rest and regroup.

    No awareness in their own end. Every one drifts right leaving the shooter alone. Easy goal. This will be over before the end of the period.

    They reverted to last season play in the third period. Last 3 games they have been out hustled, fore checked and stood up at the blue line with no answers

    The second and third shots seemed half hearted. Skate in with speed and go at the goalie. Make him flinch.
