The lack of scoring that plagued the Sabres in the first 15 games of the season seems to be over. 20 goals in the last 6 games. They scored 5 against San Jose.

Kassian reminds me of Rick Dudley. Hard nosed player, tough in the corners, ability to score and fight. I like the kid. Hope he gets the ice time to develop. Vancouver is a tough place to break into the line up.

Just checked the stats and the Sabres are 16th in goals against, which is not bad but they are dead last in scoring. Have less than half the goals Chicago does. Ugh.

Teams are beating the Sabres on the 2nd night of back to back games. These guys need to press the issue on the opponent but they don't, The Sabres just don't have the talent to compete even with average teams this season.

Pull the goalie...hope they have worked on this because the last few times the have done it, it has been hard to watch Well that stunk and don't have to worry that the game will be a 4-3 affair.

Sekera is on pace for a 40 point season. The best he had as 29 in 2010-2011 (3g 26a). I wish he could have been able to have tose in of stats for the Sabres. He as a favorite of mine.

PK unit has been the lone consistent part of the team. Killed off a double minor and made it look easy. Way to go boys.

Good to see Sekera having a career season. Scored as many goals this season for Carolina than he did in the previous 3 in Buffalo. Change of scenery can help a guy improve his game.

3 months to a kid is an eternity. As a mature adult 3 months is a very short time. Once you get past 50, time flies. Believe me.
