Looks like another loss but the Sabres had their chances.

Now that is how you pass, shoot and score.

Penalty box parade continues.

Best effort in the last 12 games but fell short in the scoring department.

Giving up 5 goals a game in the last 11. Don't win many games that way.

Varone is playing a good game. Like his play.

That was some bad hockey in their own end. I like the young talent on the team but play like this makes one wonder.

That was an ugly goal but it counts. Seems the Sabres are lacking in the ugly goal department. The tank crew is liking this.

Sloppy play. Close game blown open by lack of discipline. These guys need to really hunker down on the mental aspects of the game. Nolan has his hands full.

Since the 4 game winning streak in mid December the Sabres have been out scored 45 to 17 in 10 games. That is pathetic.

Stop pulling the goalie. Sabres man advantage is terrible on the PP. You know it is almost an automatic goal. Who ever is coaching the PP/man advantage has their work cut out for them. These guys are making too many errors.

Good. Get a goal and start playing with passion.

Another steaming turd of a first period. They have not been ready play in the past 4 out of the last 5 games.

New Year's hang over lingers on. NJ Devils is bad but Sabres are making them look like a hockey juggernaut.

The Sabres PP absolutely sucks. Why so many replays of the goal? Enough!

Double screen. Learn to block the shot and not look bad at the same time.

These blow out are getting old. Never had a chance in this game. It was over before it really got started.
