Buffalo is a freakin soft team!!!!! Larose runs our player and they do nothing. Skinner and company are mocking and tormenting Buffalo. This is a freakin joke. Trade Myers for Bobby Ryan before freakin Myers puts a puck in his own net. this team has not changed a bit. Everyone is right John Scott doesn't do Sh** for this team; just when I thought things could be different. If Buffalo plays Boston they the way they are playing tonight, forget it, Buffalo is on the outside looking in again this year. Ott makes a glancing blow on a player and he is instantly jumped; when freakin Gerbe gets run freakin Myers taps the guy on the shins and say please don't do that again, pretty please. Freakin wake up Buffalo, your freakin pathetic right now.

My question to you is how does the culture of passivity change in a locker room where men are afraid to men? Example: Gerbe freakin get's run, and Myers does absolutely nothing. Instead the referee is allowed to bounce Gerbe all over the freakin glass. If someone doesn't wake up Gerbe won't have a career.

Define worthless? If Scott is worthless than why play him at all?

Your comment reminds of a guy that played for the San Diego Gulls WCHL named Bruce Shoebottom. I think he played for the Rochester Americans 1994-95 season; anyways, by the time he reached the Gulls he had added a few pounds and he was big and slow. Shoebottoms teamates would rush down the ice into the offensive zone, turn over the puck, and it would take everything Shoebottom had to get to that end of the ice; however, when he would finally get into the zone, everyone was leaving , and the play was going the other way. He was always trying to catch up. The one thing we could always count on was that he could man handle every opponent in a fight until he finally met someone that gave him a concussion with one punch and that was it. Shoebottom managed to rack up 390 PIM in 2 seasons with the Gulls who today still holds the most Championships of any professional sports club in San Diego. Their coach was former NHLer Steve Martinson; Steve Martinson lead the Gulls to 5 Taylor Cup Championships in the WCHL, and 1 Brabham Cup Championship during the first year they were absorbed into the ECHL. We were there the night the San Diego Gulls played the Phoenix Mustangs at the San Diego Sports Arena, and the game was canceled due to what amounted to a full on gang brawl, it was the wierdest thing I had ever seen in the sport of hockey. We were all shocked; the game was suspended after two periods. Guys were knocked out cold on the ice; I mean OOOUUUUTTT. Coach Martinson was walking out onto the ice at the start of the third period on the way to the bench in his dress shoes when John Badduke of the Mustang's skated up to Coach Martinson and sucker punched him. All hell broke loose. :w00t: Coach Steve Martinson and John Badduke were both ejected from the game, and sent to the locker room; however, as they were leaving the ice, a comment was made that Badduke was going to get Martinson in the corridor between the locker rooms. Instantaneously both teams made a mad dash toward the referee trying to shut the rink doors, and when the players hit the doors, the referee went flying through the air, it was insane. Barry Potomski (RIP) was sent to the Gulls from the Los Angeles Kings for conditioning after an injury; when the brawl broke out Barry ended up sending a couple of guys to the hospital. Coach Martinson was a pretty nasty fighter in the NHL; between Martinson and Potomski the cleaned up in the locker room. Ouch! http://www.dropyourg...spx?Game=187178
