In the article ICE claims that the mothers made the decision to take their children with them, for whatever that's worth. One mother wrote a note saying so, she says it was written under duress. ICE also claimed the ensured Honduras could meet the medical needs of the cancer patient. It will be interesting to see how the lawsuit plays out.
