    VO is, if I may borrow a phrase from soccer parlance, a 'luxury player."  His shot / nose for goal could theoretically be enough to keep him around despite the obvious black hole that is the rest of his game if you carefully manage his ice time and put him in situations where he'll be more likely to produce without destroying you going back.  This might not be the team for that, all things considered.  In theory you could get something of some value from a contender looking for a goal hanging PP threat if you put him on the block.  Wouldn't be a ton, but.... eh.  

    Mitts, to be honest, doesn't look like he has it in him at either end, really.  He's been a boy among men since he signed, and does not appear to be improving at all, much less putting it together.  Not sure what you do with that, other than cut bait.

    I mean, this one is the most brazenly corrupt and terrible one since (checks notes) the last one... ugh.  

    Anyway, as long as England embarrass themselves (fans and team) in typical hilarious fashion, then I suppose I'm here for it, though it may make me feel slightly dirtier than usual.

    He probably will keep getting a little better at faceoffs but he probably won’t ever be a guy you send out as a specialist to win a big draw.

    I think that he does impose his will as much as you can expect from a non-elite player.

    The game isn't the same anymore, he just might be Lindros adjusted for era.  He learns to use his size appropriately in a league where it's now frowned upon to try and cripple and/or lobotomize the opposition as flagrantly as it once was, and he might just earn himself the room Lindros did, albeit through much darker methods.

    Of course, this is best-case-scenario and nowhere near a guarantee.
