He's kinda a long(er) shot to make it, but I really think Linus Weissbach is gonna turn heads. He's sneaky fast with a good shot and just the type of guy who can fill out your third line.

Hopefully JOKER gets back in the lineup ASAP.
I thought this was a interesting quote from Mike Harrington today:
"I doubt you're going to see any big moves out of Rochester. It's not time for Jack Quinn or JJ Peterka, yet. Nor Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen. It might be worth giving Casey Fitzgerald a look on defense instead of Butcher, who is showing why New Jersey was so willing to dump him for a few bags of pucks."
I agree with Harrington on this. The brutal Butcher seems slow and why not give Fitz a shot at the Sabres lineup? He's been doing great down in Rochester. Thoughts?

Alot of hard skating all over but no sustained pressure in the offensive zone. Ugly.

For once, I'd love to see anyone completely nail Crosby with a good CLEAN hard check. Nothing dirty but a full on body hit that would send that punk flying. Again, NOTHING DIRTY, just clean, full force hard. I'd love it!

You can wear what you want of course, but me personally, I'd only wear a jersey of the current teams on the ice/field or none at all going neutral. I think it just looks dumb to wear another team when they aren't playing. Unless you are at a AHL, ECHL or some lower league, then you can wear whatever you want. I've seen so many people wearing different jerseys at ECHL games it was amazing. Rocking a Nordiques or the Whale jersey at a Idaho Steelheads vs LV Wranglers game in Las Vegas years back! LMAO!

Seems like WSH had the puck the entire time in the Sabres zone, or am I just on drugs? No, its not the drugs, Buffalo is just skating around with nothing to show for it.

This may be premature, but I would seriously contemplate trading him at the deadline. Buffalo could probably get a nice return. He has looked terrible for a long time now and last night vs Seattle he was a disaster. Is he a freaking defenseman or what? He sure doesn't play defense.

Jack can still wear #9. VGK traded Cody Glass this offseason. It would be weird wearing my #15 jersey at T Mobile Arena. LOL.

Alex Tuch got better each year when playing for Vegas. Loved watching him for the 4 seasons. Glad he was included in the deal.

A perimeter player who doesn't go to the dirty areas to score goals. I'm not expecting much from him this season, unfortunately. Prove me wrong, and I'll gladly own up to it though.

Good for him. Enjoy college one more year. Hopefully dominate and win the Frozen Four tourney. He doesn't need to be on this Buffalo team this season anyway.
Question though; do the Sabres put him on the Amerks next year to continue development or is he just too good and starts in the NHL? It will be interesting to see.
