I thought the same thing. Milbury is such a schmuck! The "Beg" quote was totally taken out of context. At least Keith Jones defended Nolan from Milburys thrashing. Its mind boggling how many times this keeps happening. Freaking snipe the puck!!Several chances late in the period but they have to bury the puck. Too many shots right into the goalies' pads.

So I heard where Max Lapeire on STL gets only 5 games while putting Dan Boyle out on a stretcher and Kaleta gets 10 games for a hit on J Johnson who plays more than 20 mins after the hit and there was no penalty on the play. Lapeire is a repeat offender too if I'm not mistaken. Shanny is a total joke!!

Shanny hates Buffalo. Plain and simple. Kaleta is no choir boy by any means, but he always creams The Sabres with these rulings. Thank god Kessel only got the 3 gm preseason ban for using his stick like a lightsaber!! Shanny is a total joke.

I'm a little shocked they gave it to Vanek. I expect him yo be gone this time next year. I think we resign Ott for 1 year at the deadline. Vanek is no where near those two other players so shouldn't be mentioned with them. It would also have been nice if he remotely lived up to his contract :(
What do you mean? He's been the Sabres top scorer for years! He has earned that contract money.
Only after Gretzky was traded. Gretzky was captain from 83-88 (after former Sabre Lee Fogolin).

I don't like any form of a rotating captaincy. My choice would have been #26 and #26 alone. All season. End of discussion. He's been here 10 years and deserves it.
Imagine The Red Wings rotating it around when Steve Yzerman was the Captain. How about Wayne Gretzky with the Oilers? See what I mean.

I think you picked the wrong guy. Why do we have John Scott on this team? I think he's way less valuable than Kaleta. Pat looks like he's really going to be more picky with his fights this year, stay relatively clean and he even said he's committed to being a top penalty killer. He brings more value than Scott.

I really like Hockey Hotline. I try to listen to it on my way into work. I'm in Vegas, so basically, nobody talks hockey. Notice I said, "Try" to listen because my WGR either crashes or goes out constantly that it's becoming unbearable. Does anybody else have this problem with the app? I frustrates me to no end, so I haven't tuned in lately.

I have lived in Vegas for 15 years. Yes, there is a major new arena being built between NYNY and Monte Carlo. But I'd still s&*t myself if they awarded us a franchise. It would be awesome, but I'm not sure the town would support it, unfortunately. Sabres would still be my number 1, though! Vegas, second.
