I think you hit the nail right on the head. I think Tom thinks the Buffalo News and Wgr550 is too tough on Darcy, Lindy and its players. Sorry but both have been here a long time and accomplished nothing. Fans need to boo the ###### out of this team or hold up signs that call for change because this team is a mess and don't seem like they will be competing for a playoff spot anytime soon. I think Lindys system/message is old and stale and its time for a new coach. No coach in any sport holds a position that long.

I will say this much a lot of the blame needs to be put on Darcy Regier and all the scouts! They need to draft guys that have skill and that can skate. If u are a mediocre skater you will probably never have speed or the skill to compete full time at the NHL level. I remember how many second rounders Darcy pissed away on a rental player that they never kept. I'm sorry but their is a lot of quality players in the second round that could be there to help now. Lets see Zubrus, Moore, and Torres all a complete waste of second round picks. Then drafting smallish forwards. Really it's okay u have one or possibly two if they are both highly skilled but we tend to get small forwards who aren't that highly skilled. I think this teams a mess and what scares me is when Pegula first came into talks with the media about how they talk about Darcy and Lindy and certain players and that he thought the media in buffalo( wgr and the buffalo news is to tough on the team). Sorry Tom but you should have started with a clean slate when you bought the team. Lindys message and system is old and stale and its so obvious to see. Darcy has been here too long and accomplished nothing. It's time to turn the page as these two clowns aren't going to win u the Stanley Cup. I want this team to keep losing that's the only way things will change.

Yeah we know Buffalo had a good game against Boston but when was the last time you seen Boston's defense look so bad? That was the worst they played all season. Lets face it people Lindy needs to go and Myers needs to sit in the press box a few games. Leupold is a ###### terrible defenseman. Trade him when you can still get something for him. Please get rid of Matt Ellis. Only way I see change is if fans voice their opinion about Ruff and Regier. The players should stop playing for Ruff like Washington did with Bruce Boudreau. Now the blame on Regier and the scouts! They have drafted so many defenseman and forgot about the most important part of hockey which is scoring. It is going to be years before they have a solid squad. Besides Armia and Grigensons they don't have much up front! I didn't count Luke Adam because until Lindy is gone he will probably never get another shot here. Plus Adam knows his skating is his weakness in his career why is this guy not working with a skating coach. I feel this team is a mess and a lot of things need to happen if Pegula wants his dream of Buffalo hoisting a Stanley Cup in the near future!

I agree because his game since his rookie year has been getting worse. This year he is making more mistakes than normal rookies do.

Well lets see Boston played their worst game of the season against us! Lets face it folks this team is scary bad. Let the losing continue so changes can be made. Myers needs to sit in the pressbox as he is not even coming close to living up to this contract. He's been ###### brutal so far this year. Pegula has to stop fallen in love with this garbage product that has been put on the ice and make his GM, Coach, Scouts accountable for this crap! Their is hardly any skill on this overpaid team. To me that's unacceptable.

I haven't been impressed with Myers or Leopold. I wish they would sit Myers a game or two in the press box and Darcy needs to unload Leopold and Luke Adam for another scoring forward who is young.

I have a feeling Sabres get beat in fights and on the scoreboard. Lets face it folks this is the same ###### squad like last year with a goon who can't play and Steve Ott. I don't see this turning out well. Buffalo is playing their losing ways and Boston keeps winning with 4 solid forward lines and tough defense besides Rask is pretty darn good. Don't get me wrong I hate the ###### Bruins but they are a cup contender and we aren't even good enough to get a playoff spot. This Sabres team is soft just like the guy building this squad. He has played catch up to other teams since the Briere/Drury days.

As much as I want Buffalo to win this team is really good at finding ways how to lose! I don't see this turning out so good.

Without any moves for more scoring this team misses playoffs again. Sad thing is a lot of teams need scoring. Darcy has to be careful of all these contracts because Cap goes down next year.

Don't get me wrong most of us want to see Grigs stay but why keep him up if he playing with bums like Hecht, Gerbe, Scott or Kaleta they aren't that talented those guys. Plus i dont see this team making the playoffs this year with the same group as last year. Darcy needs to earn that paycheck and trade a few guys and get some more scoring and please no more Matt Ellis. Even Washington announcers were wondering why Adam Oates hasn't had Ovi playing with Backstrom. Ovi had Crapp and Beagle. They even said those two aren't talented enough to put with Ovi.

I thought he was better than MacKinnon but not better than Jones.

From what I seen at the world juniors Jones is much better. Besides their was another draft eligible player on Canada who was better than MacKinnon!

Number one rated player is Seth Jones another d-man. This team needs offense.
