I've been saying for years now that Ruff and Regier needed to go if they want to accomplish Pegulas dream of a Stanley Cup.

Myers was never a big hitter they changed his play by stressing more defense out of his game. The first year he made quick smart passes and when he got the puck he rushed it up the ice a lot. You can see the difference between year 1 and now. He's an offensive defenseman trying to be way more defensive than he's use to being.

Sorry but u have a lot of veteran players on this team. So your telling me there's no leadership on this squad to be held accountable. I think it's time for Lindy to go. He's been here way too long and even good coaches don't last in one place in sports now a days. I believe this is carried over from last season when Roy talked about Ruff. Do u think he actually wants to do much he's getting a nice paycheck himself as he has his hand in all this mess as well.

What I can't figure out is cant they tell they have quit on Lindy. Not as bad as Washington last year but come on its so obvious to see.

Best is they have Darcy's blueprint written all over them besides having one of the largest payrolls. Sad and no one here talking about Darcy getting canned. To me it's Darcy's and Lindys job to get this team in the right direction and even with new ownership and Darcy's hands untied they are both failing miserably.

A team built by Darcy and no talk about him getting canned. I love it. I don't think a move for O'Reilly is gonna help without giving up on some young players. I would rather bring in a new coach before giving up on some young players. Bring in a new coach and then start making moves for the correct players. I don't think it would be a solid move acquiring O'Reilly and then give him what he wants contract wise.

So now what Darcy makes a move for O'Reilly giving up a lot and then gives him 5 million a season. Please don't do that.

Wgr and the Buffalo News shouldn't talk about Pegulas team like that. Remember if people would talk about Pegulas daughters tennis game like wgr and TBN talks about these Sabres she would have quit a long time ago.

You talk about Pegula saying he wants people to make mistakes and learn from them but how many years have Ruff and Regier been here for? Pegula made his first mistake when he didn't fire these two clowns when he took over the team. They need to do a complete overhaul of this organization and I would even include the strength and conditioning coach! I still feel the writing was on the wall last year about how these players felt playing for Lindy Ruff when Derek Roy said some stuff at locker cleanup day.

I don't think it will be that fast as look at many of the other young teams. It will take longer than 4 years. Leopold should be moved when u still can even for picks. Grigo sitting another dumb move. How is this gonna help him develop? Coaching staff needs to be riding him early if they want to teach him but sitting in the press box isnt going to develop your game. Stafford needed to be moved a year ago.

If they lose against the Jets at home then they need to shake up this team with a trade or two or hopefully a new coach with a new system. I'm hoping both.

I just hope the losing continues and if you think this team is a cup contender your sadly mistaken. Goofball Darcy needs to figure out how to cut the garbage off this team. And Ruff needs to be shown the door.

I don't know why this organization decided to keep Grigs up if you are hardly going to play the guy. Yes we all want him to do well but how do you expect the guy to learn all situations when he's sitting on the bench or have him playing with garbage. I'm just not fond about how Ruff is with players. To me his system and message has been stale for awhile now.

Wow lets trade Tyler Ennis. How &ucking stupid. Take on more salary when Stafford, Gerbe and a handfull of others could go. Ennis might be small but has speed, skill and scoring plus he isn't that bad of a playmaker. Can people get off this Ennis talk already.

So who expects another loss besides myself? Let the losing continue its all on Ruff right?

I have no idea why people would even think about Vanek. If Vanek had an all-star center that could pass him the puck and I'm not talking Derek Roy he would be a constant 40-50 goal guy each year. He's that good of a goal scorer. I wouldn't even think about moving him.

Couldn't agree more! I could see trading for the guy but not wanting to give up two key roster players moving forward.
