Quick look at AHL goaltenders shows an undrafted Clay Stevenson leading the league in most categories with Hershey.
Old friend Erik Portillo 12-6 2.45gaa .923 sav% and 4 pims is being given the year down there even though his parent team is struggling bad right now.
Sabres goaltenders do not appear on the list

Think I read somewhere he always got away with dirty hits, should have been a repeat offender.
Charas elbows just happen to be head height for the avg NHLer. Not his fault.

Hope Quinn is OK. Poor kid.

Let's see, our GM's motto is to do the absolute minimum and take the least amount of risk with FAs.
Thus I expect
1) UPL/Levi to be the goalies next season
2) Defense - with 5 guys under contract and a 6th (Joki) an RFA, I expect more of the same with one depth signing.
3) Forwards - 8 are under contract - Skinner, Thompson, Tuch, Cozens, Quinn, JJP, Greenway and Benson. Mitts and Krebs are RFA. He'll re-sign Robinson and promote at least 1 of Savoie, Rosen, or Kulich. Those 12 will be the forwards for 2024/25 with again one FA depth signing.
Don't you feel better already about next season? Didn't think so!
So, nothing lol
Adams could bring up the AHL guys and have an all AHL 4th line, see who rises to the top.

None. Internal promotion only this offseason so nobody gets blocked.
Trust the process.

Elliott Friedman says it makes alot of sense to him, alot of sense, that teams are interested in Erik Johnson.
He said it not me

Couple years ago I was all about this.

3 goals in the first ten minutes but Meatballs sees no reason to pull the goalie.
Amazing this team came back to win this game because the start was very unimpressive tbh.

1-0 2:55 into the game lol this team never learns
JJ was slick wit it
Ok, Kings right back in the lead. How deflating.

How done are the Sabres this season?
How many seasons has it been? Where's the urgency to fix it?
Who's next in the pipeline? Anybody saving this team?
Are the Sabres as an organization putting in full effort to win or has it become about stockpiling draftpicks and prospects to admire while they ascend through the ranks in search of their dream.
Is it their dream? For most of them, yeah it probably is but do they all have that passion to achieve it?
These are just a few questions I'm bouncing around in my head trying to answer but there are no good answers right now.
Everything has turned to *****. This team needs some changes this offseason.
Waiting any longer is unacceptable imo.

What about the team?
What if they moved?
Which sounds better?
The Quebec Sabres or the Utah Sabres?
Would they keep the name? There's alot to think about here.

My bad man.
Didn't mean to piss in ur cheerios.
I enjoy your style, my reaction has more to do with the state of the Sabres and my own misery in it all.
That and I'm getting tired of prospects.
I'm in need of NHL players right now like the Sabres should be.

No, there WAS a thread about it on this site. That disappeared sometime last week.
Oh my bad. Carry on please.
I moved up 5 spots for Celebrini then, in that simulator. Woooooo

Go ahead and trade it.
The pick will instantly become some teams smallish super dynamo scoring wizard all around top player year over year.
Because that's the way ***** works in Buffalo
-
Honestly. Since I got more interested in prospects and the draft the team has become more of a disappointment.
I enjoy watching these kids journey to becoming NHL players but when your team is losing, almost everything involved with waiting for prospects to get to the NHL sucks.

This is more like the unserious draft thread since we already have one and you included the tankathon link to fantasize about draft position.
It's unfortunate that this season has come to this point, before February again.
What's another high end prospect gonna do anyways?

I totally agree. I'd love to see the Sabres record when our in experienced coaching staff goes up against what are considered top NHL coaches - especially those who are defensive minded. I'd guess they have a .300 or less pts %
Keep Donnie or not, at the very least I think they need some different coaches.
Not from the Sabres development staff.
Some former players w pedigree would be nice.
