I cannot wait till our bigger defensemen get to the big club, Zadorov and Risto won't let these little knats buzz around swatting at our goaltender after the play every friggin night. Weber bless his little heart, he tries I guess.
Bet a dollar nobody roughs up Subban tonight like the chowdaheads did last night!
-
Subban acted like a punk , Gallagher injured Enroth (with McPains help) and the Sabres got pushed around last time we faced these douches. I hope someone on Buffalo beats up someone on Montreal!!
-
RIP HOF Ralph Wilson Jr...the only owner the Buffalo Bills have ever known, the football world will miss you!!
-
I hate both of these teams but if I had to choose I HATE THE CHOWDAHEADS most
They have let plenty go, just thought they made a couple cheap calls late when Bahston needed a goal to tie? Too bad Sabres are out but playoffs should be good, def.The broadcast is disgustingly biased. I don't think the reffing is though. They haven't called plenty on both sides.
If this game is any indication, I think we're in for some good playoff hockey this year.
How does Marchand not get that friggin beak broken every night? It's scrapping the visor for hecks sake
-
Lol nice stick work by Lucic
No doubtThe bias in this game is laughable. Marchand on top of Subban giving him the business and the announcer says he must be caught up in his equipment.
A blatant spear to the crotch by Lucic and they mumble I under their breath. What a ###### joke.
-
Lucic with a cheap shot on Emilin and Pierre screaming too many men on the ice, what a dork
-
Referees trying to decide the Canadien Bruin game
Gallagher was on the stick there, hate the guy but its true
Two cheap calls in a row
-
Chowdahead fans are asshats. The announcers seem slanted quite a bit towards the chowdas too, you are right
-
yeah, u may have a point. It is a good game, that hit on Paille would have been a penalty on the Sabres also even though it was a clean hard check. Too bad both teams can't lose!I was thinking the same thing, and then I realized it's because they can also connect on a pass and make plays. Like it or not, better players get away with more.
Pretty damn good game, though.

Since he plays with the NHLs favorite son he won't be suspended even if he deserves it. Also, his name isn't John Scott.
-
I don't understand how the Canadiens and Bruins play like a buncha punks crosschecking and getting into scrums after almost every whistle and it's just "big boy hockey?" Don't get me wrong, I like good physical hockey but it seems like every time the Sabres engage in scrums of any kind 3 out of 4 end with a Sabre in the box??
-
Whoa, surprising start. Wonder if there will be a letdown?
-
Stafford seems to be becoming a pretty good face off man, not sure if the numbers would back it up but I've seen him winning alot
-
Ennis the sniper

Armia looked pretty good in the preseason before he took a slash to the hand and broke his wrist or hand I forget which. After some adjustment time to regain strength since returning from that injury he has started to look better again, making several nice plays and scoring a few pretty goals. I think judgement should be reserved on him until he can put together a longer string of games.

Good, if they have any worthwhile assets I hope Murray can trade for them and speed up the rebuild process. Although Murray will probably be spotted another year before heavy scrutiny sets in I'm betting he would love to turn this thing around much quicker than anticipated!!And here my friends is the first entry in the "let's find a creative way to tank next year" club. Carolina will only be the first team thinking of making "major" changes with the hope of entering the TANK NATION CHASE!
My guess is that while this year there were 4 teams fighting for the basement before the Islanders entered the derby only to see Buffalo "pull" away, next year you will see 8 teams starting the chase with 3 or 4 others entering around trade deadline day.

This is true, I'm glad he got the win but he seemed way out of position a lot. Maybe somethin Corsi can help him with over time or a product of nerves? I've never seen him in play in Rochester, maybe someone who has can comment?I will have to be the voice of dissent here and say that of the four Sabres' goalies, Hackett seemed the least in control. He left a lot of open space that, thankfully, the D was right there to compensate for.
Not sure what you'd call his style, but he was definitely on the ice a lot and dropped early and often.
It's way too soon to make any judgments, of course, so maybe we'll see more of him on the road here.
-
Good on ya Hackett!
-
Tell u what though, Ryan Smyth lives in the opponents goal mouth!!
-
Proud of the way Risto cleared guys out of the front of the net tonight. He dropped Ryan Smyth a couple times atleast!
-
Great line for Conacher tonight..2g 1a 3blks
-
Huge save by Scrivens on Ennis right before Stafford goal! Could Staff reach 20? Hmm..
-
Weak call on Foligno
-
Hackett looks skiddish
