  1. I want to see what UPL does this season. He has been very inconsistent till last year, which was a contract year.

Can he do it now that he has been paid.

I have great faith in Levi, but he also needs to show he can play consistently at a high level in the NHL.

From my POV... still need to see it again this season, but we had little choice.  We had to rap up UPL, and at least it was not an overpay.

. Show me one person who said 2 years ago UPL was our future star goalie. Do you really think Adams was any different?

Not me, during last years offseason I was basically writing UPL off as he had not shown ANY consistency in call ups.

UPL played well in a contract year but it still remains to be seen if he developed the consistency that we can depend upon. We will resign him because he is RFA and he will get a solid raise. He still has something to prove to the organization and the fans, but he went a long way last year showing what we hoped he would/could be.

  3. last year we finished strong, giving us hope for this year.

This year they just took a giant leap backwards. Last year I said we were trending in the right direction but if we don't make the playoffs in 2024 then the ax will be sharpened.

This team needs a new coach, Granato has no answers, and his team always seems to have players out of position. I had hoped to see another leg up in the team but I pretty much gave up on the team in November and even if we finish strong this year Granato has to go.

Well the short answer is because the prospects were playing and the Sabres aren't (yet) BUT I think the answer to your issue is simple. This board has talked about lotteries and draft picks and prospects so much because the team hasn't been winning and in the playoffs. Prospects are where the optimists have to go. Once we become actually good again this "problem" will solve itself.

    there's a problem ?

Stamkos does not seem happy , wanted a deal done to exten him in Tampa already, but said no talks are happening so far.  Bit weird to treat your franchise player like this.

TB is over the cap aren't they? Stamkos is 33 years old. A major teardown and rebuild is happening sooner than later. I think TB just wants to keep this team together for 1 more run at it. Extensions for Stamkos would have to come at a team discount

I had tickets or vouchers for two Zeppelin concerts that never happened.

The first would have been around 77/78 and I thought someone had a bike accident although I’m not 100% sure. The second was when Bonham died which I think was around 80.

I know others who were in the same situation. They're all 10 years older than me but it was common to hear the stories at parties

  7. What the hell is there to talk about that hasn't been talked about regarding the main team. We've seen every trade scenario, cut screnario, FO scenario just waiting for the regular season to start.

We've been patiently waiting for training camp and preseason. I expect this week most conversations will pivot from prospect talk.
