No and no. :) I think moving it to 9 would be the easiest - is the extra hour good enough of a change for you? Though I think moving it to Sunday would be better for my sanity as I watch the Bills game. As for the draft - you could draft all dmen but then you would have a lot of holes on the daily roster. Each player is designated a position by yahoo (though there are a few given multi-positions) and that is how they will be slotted on your team. So only centers will be able to be put into the center slots and so on.

Still one spot open! I've sent a bunch of pm's out over the last few weeks. It might be first come first serve time now. Draft is next weekend Sat Sep 25 8pm. Calvin requested we make it a little later or move it to Sunday. Any votes changing it to 9pm or moving it to Sunday? Well if I add another goaltender category it will bump the importance of goaltending from the current 21% to 25% of the total. I'm OK with that if everyone else is. I will add the Total Saves since you don't have to be one of the top goaltenders to make a lot of saves.

I have changed back to the standard head-to-head type. I've emphasized the forward/dmen stats even more this year with a mix of skill and work stats. I've kept the minimum number of games for goalies at 2 but have swapped out loses for games started which should encourage people to play their goaltenders more. The more I look at it the more I think we should go back to the type we had last year - the standard head-to-head. I don't think I like that all there is after a week is either win or lose. Each real-life statistic has an associated point value. The team that finishes the week with the most points is credited with a win, while his opponent is charged with a loss. I'll have to relook into the point thing if it works as Jack says it does. I figured it would give 5 or 10 points to the winner of each category each week in the head-to-head matchup. Yahoo didn't have any information when I set it up. Maybe we should just go back to the basic head-to-head we used last year.

I think your top scorers will still be winning most of those offensive categories! Then we have a few categories to make sure it is not just a scorers league. I also did my best to make sure goaltenders aren't going to control who wins. As I say with everything with the league - if people think I should tweak something - please let me know what you would like to change something to.
