Examples of a better experience?
It's the little things. They often play "Shake it off" after the opponent scores. That would irk the crap out of me if I was a player. It just reeks of people who don't have a sense for the game making that decision and I'll leave it at that. And please stop announcing the opponent's goal three minutes after play has resumed. Do it before the faceoff. Who wants to be reminded you got scored on after it's already being put away in your head? Stupid. The organist's musical choices are atrocious. And, oh yeah, Doug Allen shouldn't be the anthem singer, whether or not 47 people shout "oooooggggieeeee" before he starts.
Other than Doug, all of those things happen at every arena (at least the ones I have been to).
I wonder if there is any correlation between NHL fan enthusiasm and the decline in fighting. If players don't care enough about the game to get mad enough to fight, why should the fans care?

The problem is that for years, RJ has been making awful hockey actually sound exciting at home. Now that we are seeing better hockey in the arena, but without his play-by-play, it seems boring.
Solution - pump in RJ's play-by-play into the arena.

That's pretty much it. Being able to get drunk as f*ck with your buddies is definitely the only thing that keeps people going to Bills games.
It's also only 8 times a year.

I'll just say that I enjoy watching how DD's team plays in its own end way more than I ever did watching a Lindy team do the same thing. And I'm pretty sure it's not personnel related. Let's hope he (DD) figures out the O-zone.

I'm not there. The NFL changes so fast were as hockey changes almost glacially. This season may well have been different if the injuries and penalties weren't the focus. Tyrod will be better. This essentially was his rookie season and he held up well. I did not like Roman's play calling. It was rather vanilla to start the season. It got more imaginative as the season went on. Rex needs to stop being the focus of his team. Next year will be better, I'm convinced. Is it enough, I don't know that.

Yeah I watched the game. Even if that cross-checking wasn't a penalty, the other two that led to the tying goal definitely were. But I guess people want a way to blame someone
I'll go back and show you 10 times in that game where a play looked just like the "hold" that gave them a 2 man advantage. And the refs were so confident with what they did that we got a BS make up hooking call that wasn't. Whatever. Same old .

How? Gorges tripped the guy and Risto had a blatant high stick. Franson decked Toews in front. There was no ambiguity on calls there. That's all on us
Did you even watch the game? They were cross checking guys in front of the net all game. Both sides. That's when they decided to call it? It was a classic screw job any way you slice it. Good for the NHL. They got heir darlings 2 points for Christmas.

So I'm 75% sure I'm going to get gamecenter. I'm thinking of getting it in January. Is it going to be cheaper now that it's almost midway through the season? And the blackouts, Is it exactly 48 hours after? So today the Blackhawks play the Sabres at 1:00. I would be able to watch it Monday at 1:00 pm but no earlier?
It's still being listed at the full-year price. They drop it down towards the end of the year, as I recall.
The blackouts are 48 hours after the game ends. So you wouldn't be able to watch it until Monday at 3:30 or so.
I thought that was the policy, but I'm in the Rangers market and right now can watch last night game against the Jets. Weird.

I have written a dozen posts today, 100/1000s of words and have deleted them all. My better judgment says to just stay out, but just a couple words if I can actually manage to complete this one.

Is there any respect shown for anyone with these posts? Any consideration? Chz is an adult now. By my calculation a very late 20's adult. She could be married and ready for a family or maybe is crushing a new career. Does she deserve this? Is this justifiable in the name of healthy cringiness and thought-provoking contrary analysis? All I see is disrespect and ZFG.
I didn't even mention the post where he worked in child molestation (just to tweak the mods because all volunteers deserve to be constantly tweaked and pecked at), the pictures in his profile nor the rehashing of yesteryear's battles that chase universally loved and respected posters away. The Sabres are writing a new chapter in their history. The community has evolved, but sometimes the evolution doesn't reach everyone.
I truly want better for our community. Or maybe I just want to visit a place where I don't have to tense up every time I open a thread. Maybe having both isn't unreasonable...
Good post, although, let's not pretend that chz herself hasn't taken part in some cringe-worthy double entendre stuff that would make a trucker blush.

I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up DOES rejoice. But still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone. I guess I just miss my friend.
My question is will he be reinstated if it turns out that there is some truth to what he was talking about?

C'mon PA, there is a difference between rebuilding and tanking. All tanks are rebuilds, but not all rebuilds are tanks. When you play Kaleta at center instead of bringing someone up, you are tanking.
I have to say that GMTM's comments during the first intermission with Brian Koziol have me less than enthused. In his mind, he may not be actively trying to lose anymore, but I'm pretty sure he's not actively trying to win just yet.

Our place last night was a two hour wait time for deliver. We decided to just get off our and cook.
