  1. 4. After Connolly's debacle against Boston, he is a lot closer to the door. I watched the post game interview last night, and I think he knows it, too. If nothing else, he will play the best he knows how. He got to hear that his coach has thought about benching him.

I think he should go back to his natural position of LTIR.

  2. As usual, this is the Sens games to lose. They are playing the same way they usually do against them. And Roby just said it, pressure. They can't play against a team that forces them to make a decision.

I hope I'm wrong but I feel like it will probably end up close to what the score is now.

  3. Rick's at the top of his game. It's night and day compared to last season at this point. It's funny -- you never think of an announcer having a bad season due to injury/illness. I have to believe Rick was sick a year ago. And maybe on some meds that had his eyes playing tricks on him.

Near the end of the game he had another good one, "And Gaustad wins the draw, this is a recording"

  4. 1. As I posted in another thread -- still no HD for Sabres games on MSG if you're not in WNY.

    2. I bought a Dell laptop in February 2008 and paid $250 or so for the extended 3-year, in-person warranty. It was a lemon. It died every few weeks -- just shut down. Each time, I'd have to go through the phone menu, talk to tech support in India for about an hour, they'd finally send the tech dude out to fix it, he'd show up with the wrong part, they'd send the right part (usually a replacement motherboard), he'd replace it, it would work for a few weeks, then die again. At one point I had to send it in to Dell for them to work on it in their shop. Same result. Finally, after about 5 or 6 repetitions of this BS, they sent me a replacement. This was about a month ago.

The GD new laptop is completely schizophrenic and freezes up every 60 seconds. It's unusable. Here we go again on the tech support merry-go-round.

    I hate Dell.

Same, you get what you pay for with them. I have always done tech support for pretty much anyone in my family that has every had a computer. I bought my first IBM machine about 4-5 years ago and have since switched everyone I possibly can over to them. I haven't received anywhere near the same amount of calls from long lost cousins anymore about their computer.

My complaint - I'm lazy and played racquetball yesterday. My legs are killing me now. Bout it.

  5. Dear Rochester,

    Stop f*cking raining.

    Thanks,

Today is the day at work where everyone is suppose to go the red wings games at 11, have a few beers and leave work probably 2 hours early. Ain't happening now.

  6. Happy I found this quote:

If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race has not achieved, and never will achieve, its full potential, that word would be "meetings."

That about sums up my work life. I'm in meetings about 6 hours a week. My manager, about 15, my managers' manager, about 30 (worst part is there are 2 more levels above him). Nice to see people actually find time to decide on nothing.
