I admit, I started watching NCIS. I'm not gonna watch til the period is over. If we are in front, I'll just let you guys keep me in the loop on the score.

Final minute, there was a faceoff in the Buffalo end. Gaustad skated over to Ellis and Ellis skated in to take the draw. But he appeared to deliberately get himself thrown out, bringing in Gaustad.
Any theories on what that was all about?
Maybe Gaustad "ASSUMED" that they were gonna throw him out to give them the advantage to score again before the end of the period.

Translation: This game will be a great gut check opportunity for the Sabres. Are they actually rounding into a decent team or did they accidentally just play good hockey for a week?

It just seems like it would be a better idea to bring up a younger guy who still has a future with the organization.
As much as I agree, they need experience to get a win, not an up and comer.

I'm surprised no one has blamed Connolly for winning that draw before the Habs' second goal. I mean, if he hadn't won it, Myers couldn't have turned it over below the goal line and Morrisonn couldn't have gotten mesmerized.

I know, right. Connolly needs to be benched if he keeps winning faceoffs.

I'm actually surprised they haven't had more shorthanded goals against with the way they have played the "I'm gonna carry the puck then drop it off to you at center ice" for the past two season.

Dammit. I missed the Stafford penalty and both goals while I was rebooting my router.
What was the deal with the Stafford penalty?
Vanek got hip checked and Stafford went after the guy that did it. Nothing big but a momentum builder. For about a minute.
