Finally. FINALLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DirecTV finished with the install. This will be the first game this season where I'll have the pleasure of watching on a screen bigger than 13.1" in the comfort of my own home.
Sabres better show up. I'm on an emotional speed boat right now. If they crash and burn I don't know how I'll cope.

Yeah, it's still out here, which is something I could complain about a bit. The one thing I wish I could change right now is that I just found out that I get to cash out all of my remaining vacation hours, but my sick hours are unfortunately lost. If I was able to cash out those sick hours, I'd probably have enough money to buy the new car that I'm going to need in cash. That would have been nice. Instead, I'll complain about this new found debt.
You could aways come down with something for those lase 12 days and use up that sick time. I don't condone the idea but I have known plenty of people that take all their vacation days in the last 3 or 4 weeks or so then they work 2 days at a time so they don't need a doctors note, yes, where I work if you are out for more than 2 days you don't get paid without a doctors note, to limit the amount of time they need to be there.
I know it doesn't put cash in your pocket but it at least gives you time to yourself to prepare. Changing jobs can be as life altering as getting married/having kids/etc.
And congrats on the new job.

Whoever decided that the Holidays are the "Most Wonderful time of the year" obvious never tried taking the last game on the shelf while someone was 5 feet away eying it and then have them try to start a fight with you about it.

Play can't be reviewed until stoppage. So either another goal, penalty or stoppage of play.

Not saying you're wrong but I would think of it at a triple/double. 3 for buffalo, 2 for sabres.

Puck hits Elliot, whistle is blown. I like how any shot on goal that doesn't go flying into empty space is an automatic whistle.

OK. The fact that Roy just got tripped the $H!7 out of and no call was made tells me that refs "do" get paid off/have preference to the home team(as long as they pay them enough).

Hopefully Miller is given a make up quick whistle if needed.
Most of the whistles have been quick lately. Not just this game but the last few I've noticed the whistle going as soon as the goalie touches it with there glove.

These refs sure do like their Sens
Gerbe gets cross checked/almost boarding from behind and then I see Grier trying to skate away from a guy with his stick being hooked away from the play and no calls on either.

If you're out and about, give a sympathy honk for the goose since he had a goal that the refs decided to not care about.

Just imagine the Sens wearing the BJ's thirds and deal with them like they did last night.
Another Kaleta frenzy would be welcome, especially with Neil's ugly-as-heck face on the other end of it.

Neil's afraid someone on the other team might mistake the gapping 4x6 in his mouth as a net and shoot the puck at his face.
I like the idea though, any chance Sabres staff can steal the BJ's jerseys from the laundry bin and plant them in Ottawa?

It was amazing to see how this team looks with a little agression added to their game.
Sooo once the league is one conference and Kaleta starts each game with a huge hit we can expect the cup! SWEET!

Weber needs to come out like a hound eatin his lunch off a Brillo pad. Just wreck some fools and let your presence be known. That's the only way he stays in the lineup.
