Agree. Well that and the D GMTM bought (franson, bogo, kukilov). The Foligno / Reinhart retrieval (leading to 2nd goal) told me all I need to know. Who's going to get the puck!?!?! Foligno scared to make mistake or something.

Well another year of no playoffs. It's unacceptable. Terry should have a ###### ton of scouts and they should be searching up and down for hidden gems. I don't get it. Both teams and piss poor results.

Have you ever considered an asphalt rink with a 2 inch curb all around? No need for a tarp liner. Just fill with water. (You do leave a drain hole in the corner that you plug.)
Interesting idea. Do you have experience with this? I'd guess it would be well into the thousands.....but less than a refrigeration system. I think refridge is the way to go if you have a lot of cash. We've skated 1 day so far this year, and forecast is for next 10 days (roc).

McDavid and the Oilers losing to Philly for Philly's 7th straight win, McDavid chirping up Manning, the guy that put him into the boards last season. McDavid ain't your quite little Canadian, folks. He's kinda a dick
Oh and Price got some contact by a Devils player and stood over him and just kept punching him until other NJ players arrived. Got some good shots in too
Was a fun night. I caught most of the EDM v PHI game. Didn't like the outcome but was highly entertained. McDavid post game "Manning admitted he did it on purpose, no class". I gotta think he was trolling him, right?

Here's an interesting comparison between Edmonton's rebuild and ours; much has been said of Eichel's injury making the Sabres rebuild look so poor compared to Edmonton. Ok well, the Buffalo roster has scored a total of 68 player points. Edmonton = 110 points. Now, of course Connor McDavid is off the charts - 18 points already. But, the REST of the Edmonton Roster has an aggregate 92 points - 24 points more than the entire Buffalo roster.
Oilers are getting production across the board from their roster, even factoring out their star McDavid. Buffalo OTOH, is clearly NOT!! A lot of money has been spent on this team for what seems to be very little! Kane, Gorges, ad nauseum. And those players can't be blamed on the previous regime - that's squarely on the shoulders of Tim Murray. As well as decisions to retain Regier Era players like Ennis.
It's my first year with Nhl.tv or whatever it is called. I've watched 7 or 8 Edmonton games this season. Like, I'm more excited for them than I am the Sabres games. Not pulling for Oilers to win, just enjoy watching entertaining / fast / skilled hockey. To your point, I agree, it's a lot more than Eichel's absence.

I am continually impressed with the play of ROR. It's the only good take-away I had from last night's game...............
I thought this was Zemgus's best game of the year so far.
I thought on the whole the Sabres were the more physical team led by Z, Gorges, Foligno and McCabe. Kinda tired of looking for positives in losses at this point, but the difference last night was the dumb penalties (OReilly, Z, McCabe, Grant), Lehner laying an egg, and the lack of elite finishing skill amongst our forwards.

All of the above. I think they wait until after game 10 though.I'd shake things up. Send Fasching and Grant down. Strip Gionta of the C and give it O'Reilly. Trade Girgensons or Ennis. Oh and fire Bylsma.

Player to watch out for: Lucic.
And Kassian. Maybe he's turned the corner? He's played 10 and 12 minutes respectively, pk unit. Certainly way less pressure w/ this roster (+lucic) than he would have had here. Maybe he scores 20 this year?
As a hockey fan, Edmonton is awesome. As Sabres fan, yeah depressing.

Risto lost me with that terrible interview he gave Schopp and BD the other day. Sounded really dumb. Maybe its because english is his 2nd language? They were lobbing softballs and he was dazed. It's not that hard bud. If you can't figure out how to do an interview how can you figure out how to be a dominant professional athlete? Talent alone doesn't cut it.

(NHL only) A defending player clears the puck out of his own zone, but the puck then bounces off another defending player in neutral ice back into his own zone. (Under IIHF rules, this results in a delayed offside being signaled.)
