This place is dying for a new thread and some excitement. This is the Sabres first game back since a disappointing 3-2 loss to the Panthers, while Boston is coming off a tough loss in Montreal. If the have one thing helping them, Joe Thornton should be back in the line up tonight. Miller should start once again, although Ruff anounced Biron would be playing soon. I would expect Marty in net against the Devils/Islanders next week.

I believe that the Sabres are doing so well primarily because they average the most shots on goal per game. When they get only 15 shots on a veteran goalie, they won't win. That was a horrible game on Buffalo's part.
Credit the Caps defense though, they did have quite a few takeaways and played well against the forecheck.
