Orange Seats Posted January 29, 2007 Report Share Posted January 29, 2007 the second goal was clearly a high stick and should have not counted...but the NHL dropped the ball on this one too Yeah and the guys in the booth had just finished brownosing the officials (they said "no one pays attention to the 7000 calls they get right all season, they only notice the missed calls... but the great thing about the NHL is that they have no time limits on their reviews and they really try to get it right"). They went on and on and on about how it would called a no goal and that the refs get it right no matter how long it takes, and then WHAMMO the refs come back and call it a goal. Fantastic.
