November 8, 1980

Danny Gare scores twice in 10 seconds in a 3-3 tie with the Capitals in Landover, Maryland. It's a franchise record for fastest two goals by one player along with Derek Plante's pair in 10 seconds in a December 1996 win over the Kings at home.

 

November 8, 2001

At HSBC Arena, the Sabres shut out the Atlanta Thrashers 8-0. Marty Biron makes just 16 saves for his eighth career shutout.
