IKnowPhysics
I wish Belfour luck in playing a full campaign, even a split one, with 60 shots per game against him.
X. Benedict
I wish Belfour luck in playing a full campaign, even a split one, with 60 shots per game against him. 60 shots? I fully expect Florida to play some of the most boring hockey in the NHL. Keenan will play a neutral zone trap and a left wing lock and scream alot. They will give up 25 shots a game and usually lose 3-2 or 2-1.
Bmwolf21
Unless Keenan implements three or four defensive systems (or figures out how to play seven defensmen at a time) Belfour will probably still see a lot of rubber this year. Florida allowed the 2nd-most shots in the league last year at 2,853, just 27 shots better than Washington's NHL-worst 2,880 shots against; averaging just under 35 shots per contest. I don't know if adding Lukas Krajicek and Ruslan Salei are going to dramatically improve that team's "D" so I'd expect Belfour, Auld & co. will be busy again next season.
