The defense had played horrible before this and Jim Everett, Willie Flipper Anderson and the rest of the Rams seemed destined for a big night. Someone in Buffalo placed an ad in the Buffalo News "Dear defense, all is forgiven, please come home." And the defense showed up and played great.
