mphs mike Posted March 24, 2006 Report Share Posted March 24, 2006 While I always enjoyed hockey I remember the battle with the Wings for a playoff spot well. Winning it, and then not getting swept by the Habs may well have been a significant factor in making this young kid a true Sabre fan with a mild interest in the Braves, a significant feat considering I could get a ticket to virtually any Braves game but Sabre tix were hard to come by.
