fan2456 Posted May 11, 2012 Report Share Posted May 11, 2012 And, as much as I hate to say it: it was a Canadian and about hockey. Two unimportant things to the bulk of this country. Had it been an ESPN guy or some other US media personality, I think it would have gotten a lot more run here in the states. We forget we are a border city and pay much more attention to the sport and Canada. The media hacks would have been able to run with it a lot more if it was NFL, MBA etc. and a US network.
