The refs did go stand by the glass for a period of time. Someone with a tape of the game might be able to time it. It wasn't long, but it's not like Hull scored, the refs skated off the ice and the doors opened. Was there a review? If there was, it was damn short. I can say for sure that no goals like that were counted after the memo came out... Don't know if it's true, but I can sure say it.
