johnnychemo Posted March 26, 2008 Report Share Posted March 26, 2008 I'm not sure what the timeline was(Lindy and Darcy contracts before or after the bloodbath), but you have to believe that even if they signed their contracts prior, they knew which way the wind was blowing. Their contracts were resolved prior to free agency. I remember Lindy making a comment to the effect that if he had known about losing both Drury and Briere prior to his contract, it may have changed things.
