At the Hartford Civic Center, Sabre killer (and future Sabre) Geoff Sanderson does it again, scoring in overtime for the Whalers to beat the Sabres, 2-1. And, yes, they played the Whalers' theme song, alternately known as "The Hartford Whalers Victory March" and "Brass Bonanza." The mall was rockin'! Want to hear that catchy theme song again? Mats Sundin scores on a short, quick shot with less than a minute left in overtime to give the Maple Leafs a 3-2 win over the Sabres at Marine Midland Arena. It's the first Toronto win in the Queen City since Reese's shutout exactly eight years earlier, but that is not the biggest story of the night. Dominik Hasek pulling his groin is. The Dominator will be out of the lineup for a month.
