Sadly, I called this back on page two of this thread. What a shame that they gave the kids false hope with the first two goals and then reverted back to their old ways. It's impossible to buy into this team.

The version of that joke I heard was: Q: Why do cannibals not eat clowns? A: Because they taste funny. BTW, given the Sabres inability to maintain anything...and the fact that they've lost 5 of 6 all-time to Seattle...I fully expect the kids in the stands and on the ice to walk away disappointed today. Show us otherwise, Sabres.

I was out for my sister-in-law's 50th birthday dinner but was tracking the game on my phone. Got back in time to catch the last five minutes of the 2nd. Needless to say, it feels pretty good to see a four goal lead. If things start to go south in the 3rd, I will make an Irish exit before you good folks decide to come hunt me down and start the stoning (and not the good kind) process...
