I thought for sure they were dead. Gritty win.

Could also indicate that some complicated deals are in the works that will require until the deadline to complete.

Unless there is a flurry of activity within the next hour, which is entirely possible, it's been a relatively slow day.

The Le3afs have lost 3 of their last 4, and we just played TB tough. I wouldn't say it is inevitable that we get caved tonight.
I'd just like to see this team string together back-to-back wins for the first time this calendar year.

Disappointing that he won't play but, oh well. He's on the way.

Have they said whether or not Montour would be available for this game? Would love to have him out there against the tree litterers as a little added salt in the wound. ?

Love this trade, BTW.

I was going to ask that. Is there a final tally of who is in and in what league? I thought there were enough for two leagues.
Agreed. This thread has been confusing as hell. @Derrico can you list here who is in or PM those who aren't, please? I take it I was supposed to be in the 2nd league but I'm now out because there are not enough people to fill this league? That's fine but please have the courtesy to let those of us who said we were in (and were told we were in) know that we are not. I don't want to set aside time for a draft in which I'm not going to be taking part. Thanks.

The Sabres have plenty of picks. Getting an established Skinner for the possible potential of Pu and a few picks that are likely not to amount to much is a very good get, IMO. It's time for this team to start moving forward instead of perpetually waiting until next year.

Two clues are the two fans in the jerseys. One has a dark 81. The other has a medium colored jersey with a white shoulder yoke.

And the advertising ribbon to the right shows 'Allentown, PA'.

That's pretty much where I'm at & will be ok w/ that 84 point season as expected IF Housley is actually moving pieces around once it becomes obvious his 1st pass isn't working. (If somehow it IS working, cool, but that's not this kid's expectation.) If Housley wastes the last 40 games this year, like the last 20 were wasted last year, then the expectation is that Liger won't be the only one hysterically ranting. That will need to be a large boat to hold us all.

Easy Big Hoss.....I don't believe I told anyone to do anything. Please, wear it with pride......and one of those propeller hats.
Here's one close enough to team colors. It even has an elastic chinstrap for your convenience...

If you have room in either, I'd be interested. Thanks.

You know, when I saw this, I couldn't help but recall the Gilligan's Island episode where they made a musical out of this. Always dig me some Mary Ann ...
Ditto! I started singing that damn song. ?

Come on now, silly. From the boat, of course. They were on a a three hour cruise...a three hour cruise. Who wouldn't have all of those threads with them? You need to have choices available to you should something like this happen to break out...

He played 22 games with 45. Legend has it that he always wanted to be 45 but it was his brother’s number do he divided 45 in half then converted 22.5 into 23. No idea if the 22 was significant because of that as well (22+23).
Don’t remember story of 12.

Why? Is having a jersey that existed in time a problem?
Some of my favorite jerseys to see out in public are Tim Connolly #18. Take pride in owning those kinda artifacts.
I don't own one so not a problem for me either way. It might be cool to own two...one for when the team sucked (#15) and one for when they finally get good (#9). I just think it would upset some people who identify Jack with #15 and have spent money for his jersey, kids especially. Maybe I'm wrong.
-
That would be really bizarre. Only two players I can recall doing that were Kobe and LeBron, and they did it for, well, let's just say different reasons
What about our very own Alexei Zhitnik going from #4 to #44?
-
If true, a lot of fans with #15 jerseys are gonna be pissed.

Sal Cappaccio was advocating this today on GR. He may have got the idea from you.
The Leafs would probably be willing to pay Nylander 6.5 million per season, so, to beat that the Sabres would have to offer around 7 million per year and give up a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round pick.
There's no lottery protection on that, which is why I think it would be a bad idea for the Sabres to make that offer for Nylander. William Nylander may be worth 7 million per season, but the Sabres 1st pick next season might be, um, 1st.
I like Nylander but I think the offer might ultimately benefit the Leafs.
The Sabres aren't in a position to offer sheet this year anyway. The fly in the ointment is the conditional 4th in the Sheary/Hunwick deal which could turn into a 3rd. You have to use your own draft picks as compensation in an offer sheet package, if I'm not mistaken.

And the long, slow spiral into the abyss continues. What a shite show this team is.
