It's on the road so there is a chance to at least get a point. This team at home...smh. Another potentially boring/frustrating game but I'll take boring and two points over exciting and no points any day.

I guess it depends upon how you interpret what he said. I did not hear his comments so I don't have the complete context and maybe something was lost in translation but, in print, "maybe it was because Buffalo was not that good" comes across to me as "maybe it was because Buffalo was not that good tonight" as opposed to "maybe it was because Buffalo was not a good club coming in". Seems to me that it was a commentary on that specific game and not on the overall state of the team. Either way, there is no disputing that they were not good last night. They are in for another frustrating 1-3-1 type of game on Saturday against the Isles so they'd better figure things out.

It was a typical GDT. Up and down. It wasn't all negative. I think people were more disappointed than anything that the air went out of the balloon quickly after the anticipation and promise of opening night.

I know it's only one game but this team has to find a way to be better at home this year. Too many potential points squandered. Tuesday was my birthday and the Bills and Sabres both left flaming bags of poo on my porch. Thanks, guys.
