Whatever I guess, but Granato's post game presser seemed to suggest more information would be coming early this week. Fast forward to the "family issues" comment, seems like he could have just as easily said that in the post game presser vs. waiting 2 or three 3 days to give us a nothing burger. In other words, he injected more potential drama than he needed to. Completely unnecessary if you ask me....unless the family issues is made up.

Yes! For me, the question is what is the line in the sand in which Granato is publicly questioned and challenged to do better if they are still on the outside looking in? Is it the end of 2023? The halfway point? Later? For me personally, if we are still struggling at .500 and out of the playoffs on 1/1/24, then he is fair game to be challenged and scrutinized publicly. That said, he needs to get the PP fixed sooner vs. later....28th is not good enough with the talent we have.

IMHO - Granato is not the answer, but I agree he won't be fired this season unless the team collapses. Krueger was fired after a 12 game winless streak and the team sunk to the bottom of the standings, but this team isn't so bad that it will repeat 2021. What I do hope will happen is some changes in the assistants, especially for special teams.

Granato's presser theme.....need to be more "simple and direct", which I guess is different from "direct and decisive" from earlier games.

The Pen's look like the younger team tonight....plenty of jump in their game (despite being so much older than our guys).

Agree, this is why IMHO an 11-7 lineup is completely worthless.

Definitely some major puck luck for the Pen's goals, but even if this was still 0-0, I don't think we score tonight. Really starting to believe Donny has no answers to solve this and will only come up with new words besides learn, direct and decisive.
