Hockey Hell is blazing!!! It's too bad we can't somehow harness all that "heat" being generated by the Sabres (and Bills) and convert that into energy that can heat the city of Buffalo during the cold weather.

Which is why team management will NOT do anything. No coach firing, no trades to improve, etc. They believe they have the pieces and just need a little luck and injury recovery to be right back in contention. I don't believe it at all, but that's where I think their heads are. No help coming on the horizon.

And like some who do this....they get sick and die within their first year of retirement. In GMKA's case, he will "die" (get fired) before ever seeing his vision become reality.

Mrs. Tuch may be very sad to hear this!

I continue to be impressed by Benson.....he's the youngest and smallest guy out there, yet he is wired to compete no matter what.

GMKA will still not do anything...except call up AHL reinforcements.

Funny thing is, when you go to a Sabres game in Nashville, the place is full of Sabre fans.

Kind of takes me back to 1986. The team was also considered to be too "soft" from the 85-86 season, and so they tried to "toughen up" by acquiring Clark Gilles and Wilf Paiement during the off-season.

Unfortunately, we have Mister Rogers as our head coach, dumb and dumber as our GM and Owner.

Makes me wonder if Cozens is implying his current teammates are not stepping up enough or is he suggesting that the roster needs to add players (not currently on the team) who can bring some toughness. Does he think the current roster can do this, or are they too weak to stand up for themselves?

Finally, somebody speaks the truth in plain simple english vs. the word salad nothingness that spews from Granato's mouth after every loss!

So let's see....in the 3rd period, the Sabres have outscored the Canes 2-1. Anybody expect Meatballs to say "we won the 3rd period and we'll use that as motivation against Nashville tomorrow....blah-blah"?

Same can be questioned about Jost....he was a 10th overall if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, anybody in the Sabres organization or local media who dares to criticize the Sabres publicly. Pegula has a thin skin and won't tolerate any criticism of his teams.

DG should make sure that Dahlin gets a reasonable amount of ice time in the 3rd....makes no sense to overwork him tonight given the score and the fact they play again tomorrow.
