Dodged a bullet there....not because of the reversal, but it was another good scoring opportunity but the shot hit the post.

Rinse and repeat....defense needs to neutralize high threat scoring opportunities...from the slot!

On a serious note, I'd prefer one who stays on his skates more vs. going down too much leaving the entire upper half of the net open.

IMHO - let him play and do not worry about shielding him. He's 21, not 18 or 19. He seems fairly mature for his age and maybe, just maybe his presence might light a fire under the rest of the team (who is not playing motivated hockey right now). He's already used to being "The Guy" at Northeastern, meaning he's used to pressure.

Getting tired and frustrated with Granato's post game pre-conferences. He projects nothing but weakness and excuses.

For the playoffs....I don't see them getting in this year, but next year is certainly an expectation.

Agree, they're not that far away from contention. I'd also like to see some forward changes in terms of adding players who play a heavier game including boardwork, contact, forechecking and going to the net.

Yes, net front presence is lacking for sure. I would also add that we lack a player with a cannon from the point, as other teams already know to defend against our one-timers.

I have to believe both he and Tage have been playing hurt.
