Remember as a family travelling to Buffalo to see that first gameAbsolutely!!! This is a great place. I hope for a fun game.... I was just a small child during those days, I remember walking up to the working class orange seats and staring straight down, miss those times
The Sabres won that first game between the two 7-2 , and so it began

Thank you kindlyMilbank... You're presence is always welcome.... However your team's is not ;)
Go Sabres!!!
Another year of Leafs Sabres begins Leafs 1-1- 19
Visiting Buffalo
Can remember first time Leafs visited the aud , Eddie Shack scored a hat trick and the Sabres killed them.
We all have our passions but sincerely hope we can keep it fun
It's a game

Haha - HEY! Good to see you, sir.
And, yes, we know well to whom you refer when you speak of "them."
Seems unfair that your team's fortunes would be so greatly improved by an American star.
Certainly does reflect the game is a world game Excellence found in many places Keepa eye on Mich Marner he very well may be a future captain one day .
So many so young these games fun and talent on display but both teams young men with much to learn . Let's see in 2-3 years
where they are
What is refreshing is the young men on both teams are humble well spoken people
I for one greatly appreciate that
Yes I do hope at nights end you are all calling me bad names as Gods team from the Center of the universe allows you privilege to see them
-
Want to see them win about 8 - 0
-
Certainly they look to be a formable twosome playing together internationallyThe important question is: how will you feel about Eichel and Matthews winning gold over Canada? :p
Canada hockey still producing excellent players it will certainly be competitive
-
I good to remember these we speak of are nineteen years old everyone need enjoy the present for what it is . But it far to early to declare them anything . It will be interesting in perhaps five years to see just what each become
-
It was one awesome game by the young man. Anyone watching or listening to him afterwards would see he well aware it was just one game . He is a polite humble young man

The exploits of the production line Lindsay, Abel, Howe in 1947 on a tiny scratchy sounding radio (no tv in 47) amongst my first sporting memories . Howe , Orr, Gretzky stand together in composite as the greatest ever . His passing today a reminder of each of ours mortality, that we appreciate the moments and the people in them .

Canada wins world Chamionship Game 2-0 over Finland
-
Auston Matthews kicked it up a notch for the United States in a 6-3 win over Belarus in their second preliminary match at the World Hockey Championship.
Coming off a stellar performance in an opening loss to Canada, Matthews was even better in his second game with two goals and an assist in the victory.

admit to prodding the bear somewhat.. give some slack i 75 years old and likely dead and gone before Leafs win anything , in my life they arguably have never had a elite player. Good ones yes but not elite. Have been on this board since its very first day, do also root and wish the sabres well, but frankly have had it with much many of you the crap you spew about my team .Have at me I get it .
