In the end something you said rings true... its not just the Sabres I would give up on but the entire sport itself... I am sitting here north of Tampa with a lightning team to root for and I dont even watch the games... I have pretty much moved out of hockey with only packed boxes left in the attic... and my first game was the Schoenfeld Cashman zamboni doors game... I fear if they run this back I just dont have the care in me to care... Pegula has literally killed the love of my favorite sport

Right on... Housley is my least favorite Sabre off all time... when he started berating his team for not going to the difficult places on the ice the abject hypocrisy of his mouth made me ill... Richard Smell Ick was another one... JJ was bad, but Kenny Sutton has got to be on that list... maybe Derek Roy as well... They actually might play for Marty just to get him to shut up LOL... Razor would be an interesting person to listen to after games... lol...

I would not disparage the word stupidity by comparing it to our owner lol ... stupid isnt a choice it just is... this man is willfully negligent and makes up for it with the brashest level of extreme incompetence and then washes it all down with a big old cold mug of Silence... man it would be nice to get 1 top 6 guy in here to beef this up... I just remember the Vanek Roy Pominville 3rd line back when we had a pro team... they didnt need to carry the mail but they got significant minutes and made significant contributions without having to carry the team... that would be nice for guys like Kulich and Benson and maybe even Quinn if he can snap out of this... now no analytics when into this and I know you were making a point on them... but my mind wandered...

I remember Darling leaving the TV Broadcasts and having to listen to Gurtler... I remember turning down the sound and listening to RJ despite the fact he was like 3 seconds ahead of the play.

So this is pathetic... but I dont want to see Toronto win it so their misery in drought continues... I might also say he was one of the most Defensively responsible folks out there... so he is learning a balanced game... which is where he kinda slots... he ends up producing like a Peca with a two way game... that is a great player to have... but back to my original concern... are we going to develop him properly... maybe we are ... but I just don't see it... its like a feeling I have... he is set out there in different situations, changing linemates, not certain he has the right vet experience around him to kinda free lance and play his natural game... maybe I am way off base... because I have no knowledge of what they are telling him behind the scenes... but it seems like he has been set a bit more adrift than I would like... I would love to see him have a mentor... In some respects I think that was supposed to be Greenway... but he was out literally half the year... Anyways... I guess we are gonna see what they do and year 3 sometimes is a significant light bulb on year for a lot of people where the game slows down a bit for them....
