Yeah, seems like a no-brainer. He doesn't contribute a lick offensively, he contributes next to nothing defensively, and despite wearing an "A", he will not stick up for his teammates. He is the definition of a "do nothing" player...or a JAG. All at $4MM per season. But this is the Sabres we're talking about, and more importantly, this is Kevyn Adams we're talking about. I don't see him as tradeable at all, because even with some retention, what has he shown that would make a real NHL team interested in him? And if he cannot trade him, I cannot see Adams admitting what a foolish contract that was. So we're likely saddled with him until God knows when.

I've said a bunch of times, this franchise is not moving forward until they sweep the organization of the stink currently infecting it. From the GM, to the ops staff, down to the coaching staff. I'm not denying the defense sucks. That's obvious to everyone. But UPL needs to be better than that. A whole helluva lot of goalies probably have held Detroit to 3 so far. 3 of those goals He let in were bad. Defense is at fault, but so is UPL.

He doesn't need to stop every shot. He does need to make the easy saves. He's let 6 in tonight, 3 of them were soft serve. We obviously fundamentally disagree here.

My take on UPL is he makes a lot of great saves and keeps us in some games we shouldn't be in. But he also lets in a lot of trash and costs us some games. He's just very inconsistent.
